Women's Day 2021

Dear Valued Friends and Subscribers,

Today is International Women’s Day. It is a day to recognize the achievements of women around the world. It is also a day to remember those who have made notable contributions in empowering women.

Symbiosistas is all about power, the electrical kind. The generators, alternators, and parts that we sell provide the power that is critical for everyday life, and the means to keep it running over the years. If you would like to have a look at our generator selection, or the parts that we sell, follow the links below.

It is difficult to think of anything less empowering than electrical energy. It makes nearly everything we do in the present day possible. Those who make use of it are, without exception, better off. Today, we want to recognize women in electricity, like Edith Clarke, the first female electrical engineer, and Marie Curie, the first person to win two Nobel Prizes. Symbiosistas is also home to a female electrical engineer, Lilia Lin, who helps make everything we do possible.

It is a day to recognize the women who use electricity to do great things. They work at all levels in every field to make the world a better place. Sometimes they work at the forefront, like Angela Merkel, making televised speeches that impact the world. Other times, it’s work that is crucial but often underappreciated, such as a teacher preparing lessons for her class with PowerPoint, a student watching video lectures or writing a paper on her laptop, or a mother baking cookies for her children in the oven. Electricity makes all of this easier, but it is what we use it for that sets us apart.

This Women’s Day, we want to offer our thanks to the women who work in the electrical field, both our own staff and in other electrical people. They are powerful people providing power to others.

To all the women out there, who know their own power, and to those who are more powerful than they know, we wish you all a Happy Women’s Day.

Sincerely,

Symbiosistas Staff
