Mid-Autumn Festival 2021 Message

To all our Friends, Customers, and Valued Subscribers,

The Mid-Autumn Festival is upon us. It is a time of harvesting that which was worked for during the year. It is also a time to make preparations for the year to come. This year, we’d like to dedicate our message to the things that give us the energy to get us through each year.

               The Mid-Autumn Festival, also called the Mooncake Festival, is a common holiday in many Asian countries. In times gone by, the rulers of the land would eat mooncakes to celebrate the harvest time and make supplications to the moon for a bountiful harvest the following year. Mooncakes come in many varieties, but they are usually very high in fat. The Symbiosistas staff enjoys mooncakes with coffee, which is a particularly high-energy combination.

               Of course, all the coffee and mooncake in the world would not get us through another year without you, the people that keep the lights on around here. So we’d like to thank you for your patronage! We hope that you were able to realize your ambitions this year, and we hope that the seeds you plant will grow into a bumper crop next year.
