Spring Festival 2021 Newsletter

The international New Year has passed, and the Chinese Spring Festival is right around the corner. So we’d like to take a moment to pass on the Spring Festival Holiday schedule, and wish you all a happy Chinese New Year!

This year’s Spring Festival Holiday is a little different from other years. The official Spring Festival Holiday is 7 days long, but most companies will work the weekend before and the weekend after the holiday to give their employees more consecutive days off. The holiday is expected to run between Monday, February 8th and Friday, February 19th, 2020. Any orders not completed by February 8th will be completed after the holiday.

To help curb the spread of Covid-19, the Chinese government is encouraging people to refrain from travelling out of province during the holidays. In some areas, companies will continue to operate through the holidays. However, many workers may still choose to return home, and many companies will still close for the holidays. It is best to consider businesses closed from February 8th-19th unless they inform you that they are still working.

Symbiosistas will officially be on Holiday from February 8th-19th; however, we will do our best to accommodate requests for information and quotations. Please note that our response times may be a little slower during the holidays and that there are some requests we will be unable to resolve until after the holiday period.

This upcoming year is the Year of the Ox in the Chinese Calendar. The Ox represents hard work, honesty, and persistence. At Symbiosistas, we believe hard work, honestly, and persistence is a recipe for success. So we would like to wish you all a year in which your persistent, hard, honest work pays off!
